1. The "clicks" are noises similar to the crackle in radio sets before thunderstorms.
2. The whitish orgone rays are miniature lightnings, discharges of the nebulous form of orgone.
3. There are not three types of orgone rays but only three different states of one type of orgone energy.
"Fog" concentrates into bluish dots or into yellow rays. Fog is the "matrix" of energy, which discharges in whitish rays, audible as cracks.
4. Orgone and electrical tension avoid each other or hunt each other away, depending on which is stronger.

At approximately 4 p.m. (in the presence of Ernst Kalmus, who is going to build the apparatus) I noticed the following disturbing phenomenon:

For three days in July, eleven people—scholars, researchers, and Trust board members and advisors—convened in the Conference Building (formerly Reich’s Student Laboratory) to peruse what we consider the most sensitive and proprietary materials in The Archives of the Orgone Institute: Reich’s orgone motor research, the Y factor, and orgonometric equations, including Reich’s gravitational equations.
As we mentioned in earlier Updates, after the Trust’s busy schedule in 2007 we opted not to have a regular summer conference at Orgonon in 2008.

A Measuring Apparatus, an Orgonometer, Is Needed
Principle: Materials with high dielectric strength used for measuring purposes. Glass and hard rubber.
Suitable for charging alternately with electricity and orgone.
For testing of cultures and orgone charge in bodies.
ReasoningInsulators take up orgone.
Metals radiate it, probably amplified.

My spinning-wave hypothesis (*) seems to solve a multitude of contradictions in physics.
How to elaborate this?
(* Reich's spinning-wave theory represented his evolving thought on the relation of mass and energy.

I am on the track of the matter.
1. Local oxygen deficiency due to poor respiration makes tissue decay.
2. S bacteria form.
3. The tissue regenerates itself as a tumor.
4. The S form the metastases.
5. Sarcoma S is more dangerous than carcinoma S.

Dear Dr. Bon,

I am very grateful that you have agreed to help me determine the radiation. I would like to give you as a preliminary guide some of the main observations that have been made since my first letter to you.

1. The cultures fill the room in which they are located with a strange something that, after approximately ten to forty minutes, depending on the individual, is experienced as a curious heaviness.

2. They penetrate the packaging of X-ray films, cardboard covers, thin wooden boards.

5-6 a.m. It is beginning to become clear to me that the reaction in the impulse counter has nothing to do with the mechanics of cosmic rays. It is new:
Orgone is capable of turning a wheel if a counter tube or similar instrument is so excited that an electromagnetic wheel rotates. It seems important that the electrons "excite" the orgone in the tube. It remains to be discovered whether the electrons or the orgone itself is the motor force.
I have simply transformed orgone into electrical energy. The impulse is a simple electromagnetic system.

At the beginning, in early June 1947, when it arrived, it clicked two to five times on the first day in the room and in the orgone accumulator. Then the Geiger-Muller apparatus was silent for many weeks and did not show the slightest reaction. Therefore, I was already starting to think that it was worthless for my orgone research. Yesterday, by chance, out of curiosity, I picked it up again, to see whether it was still dead. When I switched on the power, the apparatus suddenly burst into life.
