For three days in July, eleven people—scholars, researchers, and Trust board members and advisors—convened in the Conference Building (formerly Reich’s Student Laboratory) to peruse what we consider the most sensitive and proprietary materials in The Archives of the Orgone Institute: Reich’s orgone motor research, the Y factor, and orgonometric equations, including Reich’s gravitational equations.

1947-08-09: Wilhelm Reich: My Geiger-Muller counter has been running amok since yesterday
At the beginning, in early June 1947, when it arrived, it clicked two to five times on the first day in the room and in the orgone accumulator. Then the Geiger-Muller apparatus was silent for many weeks and did not show the slightest reaction. Therefore, I was already starting to think that it was worthless for my orgone research. Yesterday, by chance, out of curiosity, I picked it up again, to see whether it was still dead. When I switched on the power, the apparatus suddenly burst into life.

Mientras se encontraba en Bulgaria en los años 30 para construir un salto de agua? (log flume) el rey Boris le pidió a Viktor que también investigara la razón por la que la productividad y la humedad del suelo, especialmente en la zona
norte del país, había comenzado a declinar desde la introducción de los modernos métodos de mecanización agrícola. Al recorrer el país para examinar el problema con más detalle, encontró que en el norte se araban los campos con arados de acero, mientras que en el sur más pobre, habitado por pobladas comunidades de origen turco, los campo todavía eran roturados con arados de madera tirados principalmente por equipos de mujeres. Aquí, sin embargo, en tremendo contraste con el norte, los campos continuaban siendo extremadamente fértiles y producían cosechas abundantes y sanas.
